Emergency Medical Technicians

VTFD responds to approximately 8,000 EMS calls for service each year, providing high-quality pre-hospital emergency medical care across Voorhees Township.
Minimum Requirements include:
- US Citizen
- HS Diploma/GED
- Good Moral Character
- Read, write, understand English
- Current NJ EMT or NREMT Certification
- CPR Certification
- ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 Certifications
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Successful completion of a background check
- Successful completion of a psychological evaluation
- Successful completion of a medical evaluation and drug screening
